Often called red diesel or off-road diesel, it contains a red identifying dye and is commonly supplied for eligible non-highway uses. Permitted use and tax treatment depend on applicable rules; confirm eligibility for the intended use.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid is used by equipment with selective catalytic reduction systems. It belongs in a separate DEF tank, not the diesel fuel tank. Request it as a separate product with its own quantity.
A single location may need more than one product. List each receiving group separately so the products, quantities and available delivery arrangements can be reviewed.
| Receiving group | Product | Quantity detail |
|---|---|---|
| Diesel support vehicles | Clear Diesel | Estimated gallons for the listed vehicles |
| Eligible off-road machines | Dyed Diesel | Separate estimated gallons |
| Equipment requiring DEF | DEF | Separate quantity and receiving points |
Identify machine counts for direct fueling and tank capacity/current level for tank replenishment. Do not combine Diesel and DEF into one total. If Gasoline is also needed, list the required grade and quantity separately.
A combined request does not establish that every product will arrive together. Confirm the available arrangements for your location.
Product identification is separate from tax eligibility. This guide does not establish permission to use Dyed Diesel in a particular vehicle or application.
